On Thursday the 9th May 2024 the Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, Mr. Mohammed Saddiq, visited the Museum for the formal Award presentation. A gathering of museum volunteers ensured that he was warmly welcomed and after a guided tour of the museum the presentation was made, followed by glass of local Wayford sparkling wine and a small buffet.
The weather held out for a glorious afternoon in the sunshine.
