Dr Fred Rumsey will introduce a selection of the rare wildflowers I regard as characteristic of our varied county, some found nowhere else on earth. We will take in plants from the Levels, the Mendips, from Exmoor to the Avon Gorge, with a brief offshore excursion to Steep Holm. Looking at when they were discovered, by whom, where they are found and what makes them so special.

NOTE: These events are very popular therefore due to the limited numbers that can be accommodated it is essential to book. Cost £5.00.
